If the dwelling of the wasp is hanging under the roof of the house, then the neck of the package should be glued to it with scotch tape, and if it is located on a tree, the neck is simply pulled over the nest and then wrapped with adhesive tape or rope.

The insecticide package can only be removed after 2-3 days - this time should be enough for all wasps to die.However, for fidelity and personal safety, you should knock the nest through it before directly removing the package: if you don’t hear the buzzing response, it means the wasps are dead.

If the wasps set up their home in the ground, a hollow tree, behind a house covering or in a drainpipe, you should try to pour the prepared preparation into their shelter so that it falls on the nest itself. Bottom of the bucket should be propped up by any object: a suitable step-ladder or, for example, a board. The duration of keeping insects under water is at least one day.

The difficulty here is as follows:

• the whole structure can be very unstable and fall apart, which is why all the work will be ashes;
• the surface to which the insects' dwelling is attached is not always so even that a bucket of water can be pressed tightly against it, and if there is a gap, the angry wasps will find a way out of the trap.

 

We poison wasps baited

The use of poisoned baits gives very good results, and allows, though not very quickly, but reliably get rid of wasps on the territory of the summer cottage or, for example, in the attic of the house, on the balcony - everywhere,where may be their nest. This method is probably the safest for humans and quite simple to implement.

The first step is to prepare the bait. For wasps and hornets, beer with sugar or sour jam is ideal, in which a few grams of any of the following insecticidal drugs are added: Get, Lambda Zone or Delta Zone (at worst, you can do with boric acid, but the efficiency in this case will be lower). The easiest way is to hang it, for example, on a branch of a tree: households will remain intact, but all wasps that will fly to the bait from the whole plot will die within a few hours. If the nest is located in the attic, then it is enough to place the container with the bait nearby - and soon there will be a “carpet” of dead insects under the nest.

You can not use honey as a bait: bees can also fly to it. The beer (or sour jam) will only attract wasps and hornets.

The poison bait needs to be updated every few days until the wasps on the site disappear altogether.
